Been a while since I wrote anything. I finally quit work, though I may end up there again in the next week or two. I dunno. Went to a little party-type thing saturday night. We gambled on Beta fish fights. They didn't seem to want to fight so we spent a lot of time just sitting there yelling at them. Drank a little so it wasn't extremely boring heh. Borrowed some more stuff from Stacey. Got Pet Shop of Horrors volume one from him. It's cool. Count D has been added to my list of sexy girly-men. Also borrowed Tenchi Forever movie, Urotsukidoji III eps 1-2, Parasite Eve the movie, Chinese Ghost Story, and Exquisite Corpse (a Poppy Z Brite book) from Jessika. The Parasite Eve movie was tolerable. It's the story that the japanese guy tells you in the game about the scientist culturing his wife Kiyomi's liver cells and it turns out she's Eve.. and a little girl named Mariko gets a kidney donated from Kiyomi.. Mariko is the name of Aya's mother. Hmmm... hehe. I checked out a bunch more X-men novels at the library the other day. Three of them are crossovers with Spiderman. They were cool. I started replaying Resident Evil 1 out of sheer boredom. I don't really like the game but it's one of the few I have that I haven't beaten yet. I went to wal-mart in hopes of finding a nice cheap game but they seem to have gotten rid of half of their psx games so they would have room for the tons of ps2 games they have now. Gotta tape Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 again tonight. I like it better than the original. I have managed to miss two episodes of Samurai Jack. I want to see that damn show. Everyone seems to love it. I did catch a 'making of' show about it at my friends' house. I need to find out when it comes on.

Monday, August 6, 2001 - 07:16 p.m.

I'm just sitting here taping Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon (subtitled) off of ppv. I'm sad to say that I almost like the dub better. I have an all day thing for it on ppv. I'm almost tempted to record the dubbed version as well heh. I have so much stuff to watch this week, and extra days to watch it since I am quitting work thursday. My car is about to die on me so I really have an excuse to finally quit. Something inside it keeps beeping and I dunno what. I think my electronic system is about to give out. It did that once before a few years ago.

Anyway, I borrowed tons of stuff from Stacey. I have 3 volumes of Magic Knight Rayearth, which I may not end up watching since I don't really care for it all that much. I also have Ninja Scroll, Otaku no Video which I plan on watching tonight, Urotsukidoji (the first one, which I watched last night). Hmm.. Zeguy.. I don't really know what that is. Then there's something I don't even know the name of because the cover is the original and written in japanese heh. Oh, and Urusei Yatsura. I finally watched Girl, Interrupted. I enjoyed it. Tomorrow I should have my fansubs so I'll be watching Angel Sanctuary finally. Yay! I went and saw Rush Hour 2 today with my niece and nephew. It was funny. I think I like it better than the first one. I saw the preview for Jay and Silent Bob strike back. I'll have to see that... and also saw the Lord of the Rings preview. I need to read that book again. I saw Valentine saturday at my friends' house, and Saving Silverman on sunday. They were both pretty good. Saving Silverman was funny as hell.

I am really in the mood to color, especially since I have more free wall space to hang stuff up on. Unfortunately, since my ink cartridges are most empty and old as hell, I can't print anything out anymore. Maybe I can get my sister in law to print some stuff for me. The last thing I colored was a picture of Sakura and Keroberos from CCS. Sakura is wearing her pink cat outfit. It's cute.

Thursday, August 2, 2001 - 09:27 p.m.

I just rearranged my room. It looks a lot different, though I still don't have all that much room heh. Here's a before (top) and after (bottom) pic. Everything is a lot closer together than it seems in that picture. I can at least walk around on both sides of my bed now. It was basically right against the computer table. Now my computer is on the other wall, sitting on what the trophy case used to be sitting on. It is only about a foot and a half high so I am basically sitting on the floor typing right now. I'll have to get used to it. I need about 5-6 more coke crates to put books and junk in, but would have nowhere to put the crates heh. Well, I guess I could put them between the entertainment center and the door. I need to sell all my college school books to the student book store. That would empty a few of my crates. I also need about 5 more shelves... I just need a bigger room. I wish I could pack up my mom's books in crates. That would give me at least 3 shelves on the bookcases, but she raises hell every time I mention it. *sigh* Anyway.. I have to work tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it. I think I will go in an hour earlier than usual so the woman I work with won't get pissed off at me. If she doesn't show up until 8am then I will be mad as hell.

Thursday, August 2, 2001 - 01:29 p.m.

Well, my aunt came over this morning so I didn't go get my check and whatnot. I had planned on going with my mom so I could waste her gas instead of mine hehe. So I just ended up going to wal-mart with them. I bought this cool, thick, fluffy type cloth to use as a blanket on my bed. All my other blankets are worn and torn up pretty much. This cloth/blanket is dark blue with white/blue clouds, white stars and very light yellow moons on it. It rules. I was going to get some dark blue velour(sp?) cloth to hang for a curtain but my mom and aunt informed me that it didn't match/wasn't the same shade of blue as the cloth/blanket. I don't really care though. It's close enough for me heh. I'll probably go get it after I get some more money. I was this *holds up hands* close to buying a Dreamcast today. Then I remembered I don't have enough money to get a DC and a game and still have money left. They didn't have Dance Dance Revolution, but I probably would have got Space Channel 5 since it was only $20. I want Marvel vs Capcom 2 but it's like $45. Everything else's price seems to have dropped.

We ate at the 'local' japanese restaurant today. I had never been there before. It was pretty good. I was just surprised at how cheap it was. $4.99 for a huge plate of fried rice, chicken teriyaki, and carrots. They didn't have much to choose from though.

I need to go look for another job because I don't plan on staying with this one for much longer. It's hard work and I don't make enough money. If I am gonna mess up my back again, I'd rather do it at a job that will allow me to be able to afford a chiropractor or have some benefits of any kind.

I am going to see Rush Hour 2 monday, I think. I can't remember if I mentioned that before. I want to see Planet of the Apes as well now cause my friends said it was really good.

My sister in law and niece have gone to Ohio this week to visit some online friends. That is kinda weird. My mom will be going to GA twice in the next week or two. I'm like the only one who will be stuck here. If my mom goes to Chicago with my cousin in a couple months, I might go too, just so I can say I've been there.
